Home School Values
At St Margaret’s Anfield CE Primary School, we believe that strong values help our children grow into kind, thoughtful and responsible individuals. These values are at the heart of our daily school life and are explored through our class-based Collective Worship.
Learning Together at Home and School
To strengthen the link between home and school, we invite families to share in this journey.
Each half term, we will upload a Home School Values Sheet to this page. This sheet will focus on the value your child is exploring in school and will include:
- A Bible verse to read and reflect on together
- Words of wisdom to inspire thoughtful discussion
- Fascinating facts linked to the value
- Fun challenges and activities to try at home
These simple activities are designed to help children see how their learning connects to everyday life and to encourage meaningful conversations as a family.
By exploring these values, we can support our children to:
- Develop a strong sense of right and wrong
- Show kindness, compassion and respect to others
- Reflect on their actions and choices
- Grow in confidence and faith
Get Involved
We encourage you to:
- Spend some time each term looking at the sheet with your child
- Talk about the value and what it means in your family life
- Try the suggested challenges together
Even small conversations can make a big difference in helping children understand and live out these important values.
