URGENT: We have received confirmation of a positive covid case within the Y5 bubble. If your child is attending Y5 then they have been in direct contact with the case. This means that your child must now self-isolate up to and including Sunday 24th January. As long as your child remains symptom free, they can return to school on Monday 25th January. Thank you.

School has CLOSED to most pupils from the 5th January – PLEASE READ THIS POST for more information on who is eligible to attend

Welcome to SMA!

A very warm welcome to St Margaret’s Anfield CE Primary School (SMA). Please take a look through the information on our website which I hope will give you a flavour of what life is like here at SMA.

St Margaret’s Anfield CE Primary School is situated in Anfield, Liverpool and welcomes children from Nursery through to Year Six. We are extremely proud of our school and are delighted to celebrate the successes and achievements of all members of our school community.

We have high expectations for all the children in our school, both academically and behaviourally, and strive to meet the needs of every child.

We work especially hard to make sure that children feel safe and happy at our school and provide children with a stimulating and exciting environment in which to learn.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

As a Church of England School, our core values of Truth, Fairness, Justice and Joy define us not only as members of SMA, but also of the wider Christian family whose values underpin everything we do. These values are also used daily as they are linked to our reward system. We have a very strong connection with St Margaret’s Anfield Church and celebrate many religious festivals there regularly. Our Chair of Governors, Father Peter, leads weekly collective worship at school – an occasion that our pupils very much look forward to!

If you are a prospective parent/carer and would like more information about a place for your child, please contact our school office to speak with a member of staff who will be delighted to arrange a visit and take you on a tour of our wonderful school.

Thank you for visiting our website.
