Design Technology

At St Margaret’s Anfield CE Primary School, the children are encouraged to problem solve using creativity and imagination. Design and Technology is a fun and practical subject. It involves planning, designing, making, testing and reflecting on projects undertaken. Children develop knowledge and technical skills through preparing food and learning about a varied and healthy diet, creating different models and structures and investigating electrical components. These skills can be used in everyday life and contribute to an understanding of how their actions and the actions of others can contribute to their local and global community.
