Young Leaders Award (YLA)
The Young Leaders Award promotes courageous advocacy and global citizenship. Please keep an eye out for updates and community events.
World Book Day
This week for World Book Day we spent some time reading with children from the Nursery.
As part of our Young Leaders Award we recently took a walk around our community to see what we could improve or help with.
We really enjoyed our Science topic on Earth and Space. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take a trip to investigate the planets in real life so we made us of some models and took them outside.
We investigated the Heliocentric versus the Geocentric theory and modelled how the Earth orbits the Sun. We also looked at how the Moon orbits the Earth and why we have the different seasons and phases of the Moon.
Chinese New Year Celebrations
We learnt how to perform with Chinese drums and cymbals.
