Good afternoon, I have just received the following advice from Steve Reddy, Director of Children’s and Young People’s Services:
‘Following recent information about the virus and advice from local Public Health colleagues, we are advising against any wider openings to children in Year 6 on 15 June. Schools are encouraged to continue to follow the guidance issued by the local authority.’
As such, SMA will not be re-opening to Y6 pupils at this time and we will remain operating as a hub for registered vulnerable children and children of key workers only. We will continue to follow the advice of the LA and Public Health England.
